Science Package

Our Science Package includes a Physics Lesson and a Chemistry Lesson. We will teach these subjects using state-of-the-art simulation software and engaging slide presentations. These lessons will be interesting and digestible to students at a variety of grade levels.

The Science Package has an encouraged donation amount of $35. The class is free, however, a donation is strongly encouraged as philanthropy is what keeps this project going.

The class takes place 10:00-11:30am Thursday and Friday of the week of your choosing. This class will be held virtually given current restrictions.

Designed for grades 4 - 7

Schedule

Day 1

Day 1 will focus on teaching fundamental Physics mechanics and apply it in astronomy and studying the movement of celestial bodies. Students will play around with Physics simulations and gain a basic understanding of the motion of our world and our solar system.

Day 2

Day 2 will focus on teaching basic Chemistry. Students will be introduced to the field by learning about gasses and simple molecular compounds. Chemistry will also feature interactive simulations for students to play around with as they learn.
